A Note From the President & CEO
For those of you who I have not had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Keith Morris, the new President and CEO of Elder Law of Michigan. I have been with Elder Law of Michigan for thirteen years, and I am very excited to continue my work advocating for vulnerable adults across the state of Michigan in my new position. As an organization, Elder Law of Michigan is constantly striving to make advancements and adaptations to our services to better fit the needs of our clients and neighbors. If you have any suggestions or ideas that you think can make us better as an organization, I want to hear about them. You can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those around us. I look forward to seeing how Elder Law of Michigan can grow as an organization, and how you can help us to continuously improve our work.
Who We Are
Elder Law of Michigan, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate for, educate, and assist our target populations. While our services address the needs of many different people, we continue to target our services to older adults and persons with disabilities. We provide no-cost counseling on legal, pension, housing, nutrition, and benefits access. We also provide direct and collaborative partner assistance to organizations that work with our target populations.
We receive financial and in-kind support from many sources, including the U.S. Administration for Community Living, Michigan Department of Human Services, Michigan Office of Services to the Aging, the National Council on Aging, the Michigan State Bar Foundation, over 120 community organizations throughout Michigan, several hundred volunteers, and over 100 donors. Contributions of time, money, and other resources are always appreciated and can be made at www.elderlawofmi.org/donate.
