Older adults needed for Advisory Council
Posted on 05/21/2010
If you are someone age 60 or older who feels in touch with your peers and their needs and interests, consider applying to become a member of the Elder Law of Michigan Advisory Council. We are seeking 12-14 people from all over Michigan who can provide information and feedback on what social, legal and financial issues are pressing for people age 60 and older. To be considered, simply send an email to info@elderlawofmi.org. In the subject line, please indicate Advisory Council. We need your name, address, phone number and email, and just a few sentences as to why you are interested in serving or participating in the Council. We will meet 2-3 times per year in Lansing, and participation by phone may be possible. It is a great way to be of service, meet new people and learn what your peers in other parts of the state are talking about, experiencing and interested in changing!
