www.legalhotlineonline.org The Legal Hotline for Michigan Seniors provides free legal advice and information over the phone to seniors and their caregivers on issues such as housing, powers of attorney, wills, Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security, debt problems, real estate, or any other legal issues facing seniors. The Legal Hotline is also a great place to start if you are unsure where to turn.

Your local Area Agency on Aging is a great resource to locate services for seniors. Every part of the state is covered by an AAA. Programs such as meals-on-wheels, congregate meals, assistance with housing needs, managing health care, remaining independent in your own home, and in home services are just some of the services that the AAAs offers. They may also be able to assist with coordinating rides to the grocery store and the doctor referrals to community programs for older adults in your area.
